Russians!

Back and refreshed!

There's just too much good stuff going on. The Sarah Palin Interviews. Cougar Parties.

I went back home to the states for a week. Ah, people are so polite and organized there. I had to restrain myself from driving like a Mexican (cutting people off, passing on either side...) and ironically enough went to a great wedding where the food was of course, Mexican. The weather was overcast and cool and I had to do automotive work for the family (the cost of "free room and board). I'm happy to be back but miss the delicious microbrews.

So the girlfriend and I are in negotiations, I hope that works out. She's definitely my soulmate but she's got some baggage. Is it worth it? I'm tried of putting out all the effort to see her over-react to a situation and leave. So anyways I had some free time today and checked out the news, oh and I watched the debate last night. I like both candidates but McCain disappoints me with all his lies and bullshit scare/propaganda tactics. He said Obama "doesn't get it" seven times. Which was later revealed to be part of his coaching for the debate. He "doesn't get it." reling on shit talking rather then actually addressing the issues makes me think of him as more of a Republican yahoo then a "Maverick." I've also been checking out Sarah Palin's interviews. Oh my God. First I watched all the clips for her "best" moments and realized why so many people are terrifed (the spell check just went out, beware!) of her ignorant ass. And then I started checking youtube for more videos of her interviews. I tried to watch her first interview but after my initial terror she put me to sleep. Hey, that's a sign of a true politician.

First McCain distancing himself from the W.

A little more of Bush and McCain...

And back to Plainin... It's Pa[l]inful but try to get through it.

This one of her and Katie Couric is just too much. Just remember, the average American male dies at the age of 75 (click on results, page 4). McCain's 72 put the odds are up just a little bit regarding his cancer among other things. They say he's slated to buy the farm in 2-3 years. And this would be our President. And this is the woman he chose as his backup. Already demonstrating great presidential judgement.

Ok yeah, I got to take a break.

Is the grass greener on the other side?

So you want to know what white trash conservatives wear around the BBQ?

Oh, and from their FAQ:

"Are your shirts made in America?

For the most part, yes. The blank shirts we get from Champion, Hanes and Gildan may be assembled in Central America, but the cotton they use is grown in Texas. And the shirts are designed in Florida, printed in California, and processed in Michigan."

I find it funny that people are all about the US and A but will by imported goods (or bads, especially the tools). But at the same time are all concerned about American jobs. Our buying habits screwed us out of those jobs. Abstinence education and blocking earmarks aren't going to create jobs. We really need to research and support clean technology like wind and solar to get ourselves back in the game. That's how the United States wins, we innovate. And clean coal is not the answer, it's still going to create pollution.

So yea, on a funny note, Brent Baker of NewsBusters.org ("Exposing and combating liberal media bias") reports on the dishonest tactics of Bill Maher and Maher's claim that Sarah Palin's youngest son is really her daughter's. Ohhh!

I'll send more on my walk on the wild side tomorrow.

More so content yet still concerned.

I'm doing pretty good, had a good day. Going back to work tomorrow. Staycations are overrated. I've spent the last two weeks waking up progressively later and later in the day. My only real accomplishment was finally dropping my car off at the dealer for some insurance related repairs. Never ever let the insurance company have anyone but the dealer do the repairs on your car. At least in Mexico.

Anyways, Sarah Palin. Good person, scary to think of her as #2 on the republican ticket.
A quote from her pastor, "her foundation and source of guidance is the Bible, and with it has come a conviction to be God’s servant."

Whatever happened to the whole separation of church and state in the US. Social conservatives as politicians are fine on the local or state level for me. That's their area but the thought of them in the Federal govt. bothers me. Now they have power and control of my liberal agnostic ass. And I'm really liberal. Actually not really. Maybe a Neolib? I'll flesh that one out on a later day.

Palin speaking to a group in her church:

"She also told the group that her eldest child, Track, would soon be deployed by the Army to Iraq, and that they should pray “that our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God, that’s what we have to make sure we are praying for, that there is a plan, and that plan is God’s plan.”"

God's plan? Is this the same God that's been letting all those people kill each other for the past 2000 years over religious differences? Cause Sarah, I don't think he has one. Unless he's hoping that we'll call come around and respect other people's differences. Hmm? Like hey, you're a Jew or a Muslim and I'm Catholic and we're all cool. Or how helping thy fellow man in Africa and working to stop malnutrition, genocide and AIDS. Or giving people affordable healthcare, a good education and some jobs rathering supporting tax breaks to rich Americans who have exploited the US about as much as possible and are moving on to developing nations to share the gift of American Capitalism.

Maybe letting your 17 year old daughter get knocked up is God's plan to encourage you to support sexual education and condoms distribution. I mean I went to a Catholic High School and we all received sex ed. Not one of my friends got knocked up until the age of 21 or so. It would have been nice had they explained to us that we had options at Planned Parenthood to get condoms and the pill and all that fun stuff.

Anyways, it's time for bed. Good night.

Hilarious!

A couple of Republican analysts get caught talking about Palin. Not good. "Bullshit" says Peggy Noonan, Regan's former speechwriter.

Here's the video clip from YouTube!

It's not that Sarah Palin is a bad person. But her beliefs are way off. Drilling, Reform. Alaska just loves it's government money via earmarks, Palin siphoned off 25 Million to her town. A town of max 10,000. And all Alaskans get their yearly bonus check of $1000 plus. Talk about sucking off the govt tit.

For me it comes down to this, McCain/Palin 08 will be more of the same of the last 8 years. Do you really expect McCain to make the changes he pledges? Look how he had to pander to get his base's support. Not his buddy Lieberman (Traitor! But I respect his views, just don't agree with them), oh no, he had to get a soccer mom. Who claims her only difference to a bulldog is lipstick. Yea. It just gets worse and worse. And looking at the 51% of voters who voted to keep taking it in the ass from Bush in 04, I'm scared. I mean, liberals are cooler but they're not as organized. Liberals are too independent. Ironic considering that's a Republican mantra.

I just don't understand what's so bad about Obama? He wants to lower your taxes, even give you money in certain circumstances. He's all for letting you choose what you want to do with your fetuses. He's not going to force you to take his healthcare plan. He supports new technology, mainly renewable. God knows that there are plenty of laid off American car workers who would be interested in a new job. He'll let you keep your guns and religion (even if he might think you have clingy issues with them). He wants to better our educational system.

I mean what is wrong with all that. He looks like he'd kick his daughters asses if they even thought of getting knocked up. He's a Christian and comfortable talking about his faith. He's got values. His community work shows he puts the common people first. He picked a hell of a VP, I mean Biden knows his foreign policy like no other.

Do you want all that or some old pandering dude who just wants to be President for only that reason, being President.

“I didn’t decide to run for president to start a national crusade for the political reforms I believed in or to run a campaign as if it were some grand act of patriotism,” he wrote in 2002. “In truth, I wanted to be president because it had become my ambition to be president.” He added, “I had had the ambition for a long time.”

The proof is in the puddinghead.

Opps!

I don't think they know.

Living here in Mexico alot (or is it a lot? Tell me!) of the Mexicans, the poor ones that is, wear T shirts. I suspect they have no idea what they mean.

My original text regarding Republicans and taxes.

The United States economy has grown faster, on average, under Democratic presidents than under Republicans, a new book says.
I personally don't understand why anyone would ever vote Republican. Being Republican is about less taxes, less government etc.

Abortion is a matter of choice. Laws prohibiting a woman's right to choose is more government.

Obama's tax plan would reduce taxes on those earning 180K or less. Putting more money in 95% of American's pockets. On average $900 a year. McCain's plan would only put $200 in your wallet or purse.

Democrats- Yes to education, yes to infrastructure (bridges, highways).

Why would you ever vote republican?

And don't say aggressive foreign policy. Because thats a joke. Bush has gotten farther with diplomacy in the last 6 months then the whole neocon preemptive bullshit over the last 8 years.

Vote Obama in 08 and 12.

Yours truly,

Oh yeah...

So I forgot about the irony of the Financial Republicans and the Moral Repubs.

So Republicans are all about saving you, "the working man" money. But they sure like "giving it" the working man as well.

So most Republican tax policies benefit the rich but the poor and middle class republicans vote against themselves. Check this article out about Obama and McCain's tax plans in regard to the working man. Guess who gives more money to the working man? Obama! Maybe we should call him our Obamasugarmomma? Can I be un P.C. for a minute? He be giving you (on average) $900 while that old washed up honkey got's $200 for you. And Obama will do this with only a minimal tax increase for those making 250K plus.

On that note. Check my facts but supposedly only 5% of the US population earns more then 250K a year. 5% times the US population of 305 Million equals just over 15 million people.

So why would anyone vote for a party that financially benefits a minority of 5%!!!

A headline caught my eye today,

U.S. to Unveil $1 Billion Aid Package to Repair Georgia

I thought for a second that we finally going to throw some money down South. Even though Lousiana suffered more damage from them hurricanes.

And then I remembered. Cheney is working on a little cockfight with the Ruskis. And I don't mean the kind with poultry.

Roll the Darth Vader music. It's the dark night himself. Sans Batmobile.

I'd love to kick that guy in the nuts. But would the prison time be worth it?

Do as I say not as I do! Or just let God judge them.

I spend hours each day reading the news online. I have a TV only to watch movies. Since my Mexican girlfriend has yet again left for whatever reason. Her response to my cliche question , "what did I do wrong!?!" was "I don't know, I'll figure that out later." So anyways, I've got some time on my hands. And to keep myself busy, I spend hours online.

I came across this old video tidbit regarding Dick Cheney's lesbian daughter's pregnancy. Cheney's not so hot about Focus on the Family's comment. He tells Blitzer that he's "out of line."

How can the Republican Party be such a farce?

Sure it's cool that Mr#2's 6th grandchild has lesbian parent.
Sure it's cool that Sarah Palin's unwed 17 year old daughter is knocked up.

Is it cool that 26% of young women (ages 14-19) have a STD?
HPV can lead to cervical cancer, that's some serious stuff. Kinda funny when you think about it, there's a one in five chance that Bristol Palin has got something goofy with her Koochie. But don't worry her and the daddy are going to get married (I'm sure there's no political or parental pressure involved).

Jesus! How many generations are we falling back? Sarah! That's what you get for not giving your daughter some condoms and a good talk about sex.

I'm not trying to knock her but come on! Republican Family Values are a joke. Republicans in general are a joke. So what is it? What's the real deal?

It seems to me that the Republican party is split in two groups:

The first is the Financial Republicans (the FR's), those that are all about making and keeping that dolla'. In most cases, millions of dollars. And they probably have a side complex that give's them a hardon for power. As far as I can tell, there seems to be a direct corelation between the two. Beliefs: Trickle down economics, less taxes etc. I think this group is the minority.

The second group is the Moral Republicans (the MR's), they like to ride the high horse and believe everything they believe, YOU SHOULD BELIEVE! Anti-choice, anti-evolution, anti- et cetera. And don't forget, a whole lotta Jesus. I think this group is the majority.

Both groups share the belief in less govt.

Now you it seems to me that you can't be a sucessful Republican unless you preach MR but are a FR. That's our current admin.

That's all fine, be what you want but what baffles me is the hypocrasy of the party. You say less govt but you want to pass a law that limits a woman's control of her body. I mean, there is no one out there who is pro-abortion, pro-choice but not pro-abortion. That's their choice, not yours. (And ironically deep down all women are pro-choice. I haven't met a mother yet that hasn't told her child "I brought you into this world and I'll take you out.)

Let God judge them.

Same thing with the homos, why would you ever say that being gay is wrong. God brought them into this world. And adoption rights for gays, hmm. Let's think of the possibilities: Let queer couple adopt a child. Or let that child grow up in an orphannage or foster care where they'll be likely be fucked up and go on to a life of crime and/or poverty.

Let the homos have 'em. I'd prefer that little Jimmy has two daddies or mommies rather then him pulling a gun on me or stealling my identity for his meth habit. What do you think?

Oh, and homo's don't touch kids. Pedophiles do. Get it straight.

Adios for now. I have to accomplish some errands, here in Mexico that can take a few days.
